She stands on the grate, lifts it, and lets it fall. She is strong. One day she will learn to slide it and I will be in deep trouble.

When she learns to slide it you'll have to do what we did. Milo learned to slide his so hubby put a metal tab on each side of the cage frame. They hand down and keep the grate from moving. At first we only had one tab but he learned to hold it up and then slide so we added the second. Frankly I'm surprised he hasn't just wedged them up as he does that on his cage door. That's why he has a padlock!

A couple of my grates are in lock down as are some of the pans. The dogs like to pull them out and snack....yuck.
