Momma and Daddy went to the city for a few days and I took in my little sister Lucy (Golden Retriever). So, usually Chicken tries to bite the dog so I've kept a close eye on them. A little bit ago I put Chicken on the cage and came back in the living room to do a few things. Well, when I go back into the kitchen (about 10 min later) I see Lucy standing by the cage eating something. Chicken has been feeding his pellets to the dog! :rofl:

Maybe chicken stashed some rat pellets and was feeding those to the dog?:D

I think parrots have a great time feeling in control of other, less fortunate creatures. Andy was just telling me this morning that he used to get a little annoyed by how messy the birds were by flinging their food everywhere and "wasting" it. He said he had a total change of heart when he read that birds feed the animals who live on the forest floor and without them, those critters wouldn't have the food they needed. He chuckled and then mentioned something about how Peggy really enjoys throwing food down to our doggie.

Our two dogs are so happy that food rains from above, they are certain thats what birds are for. Zoe our ADD Aussie/Border Collie cross also appreciates the smaller birds. As the sun hits the mirror in their cage each afternoon it throws spots of light around the room & she loves chasing them. The birds (budgies, tiel & quaker) are convinced she is demented, perhaps rightly so.:eek::rofl::dancered:I swear the Tiel is laughing:haha:
