After seeingthe post & video clip of Rosie I thought it might be fun to find out your birds favorite style of music. Does your bird Rock out, prefer a Symphony, garrble Gospel, yoddal Opera or do the line dance with Billy Ray?:dancered:

It depends on which bird it is. My conures like to bop about to RAP of all things! I found this out watching a TV comercial. :hehe: My Zons aren't intersted in music. "My girls" like the song "Spirit in the Sky" and will bop to that one. I think it's funny to sing "Tennessee Bird Walk" to them, I get these looks like, OH PLEASE!:rofl:

My hubby and I listen to rock and some stuff that I don't even really know how to classify.:haha:
Chicken LOVES me to turn the music way up when I'm doing chores around the house. But when it's just him and it's bed time or he has to be alone there is a country music station playing quietly by the cage.

I think they like any music, as long as it is loud. Leroy (YNA) has a beautiful vibrato!

Yesterday when I started to clean the cages, Fergie (Scarlet) said, "La la la" so I assumed she wanted to hear music from The Sound of Music including "Do Re Mi" which I have been playing at cage-cleaning time for a few days.

I have to say I think they like Rock and Rock best. That is Fergie's word for rock and roll.

Peggy Sue loves the golden oldies...especially, well, "Peggy Sue." Benny and any other cockatoo that happens to be hanging around (we always seem to have one or two extra most of the time...hmmm) like any music as long as it sounds loud or is turned up loud!!! Chrissy gets indignant with any kind of music. Most of all though I am humbled to say that they seem to like the music that comes from our own lips when they are the center of attention.

I'm yet to get Bambam to listen to any music..a few times it worked..then music had to go..didn't matter that I was paying the bills here..that noise was enough for me to throw in the towel. He does tolerate some..but I must admit..I had tried country..soft rock..Journey(Steve Perry is my favorite) so; of course; I had to sing along..way too much volume..haven't heard from Steve in a few mths:rofl::rofl:yet..if I were to say his favorite..it would be "Billy Idols" White Wedding..not my choice of music(sonz CD)but I grabbed the 1st source of music available.:dancered::dancered::yeah::yeah:he danced all over the top of his cage..so..if I can't listen to Steve..then he can't listen to Billy:D
