I found out last night that my father died. He had been quite ill, especially over the last year, so it didn't come as a shock like it did when my mom died in November. I don't even want to think about things happeneing in threes...

Sorry to hear about your father. Its never easy losing someone- even when it is somewhat expected.
And just FYI the three thing never held true for me. Its more of a 'wave' thing for me. You get hit with one wave of bad things- then you get a breather, then something else...sometimes all right together, sometimes years apart. Sounds like you are do for a break! But trust me, at some point, the bad stuff kinda lets up and life starts feeling 'normal' (or even better than normal) again. So hang in there.
