Lazy day in north Louisiana

And, no, I am not pregnant, so don't even go there. I was so shocked to see Michelle's post because I came up here to vent about spending the day on the sofa. I slept late, fed us all, played with the birds, bathed the birds (I don't know how many trips up the stairs that takes), got on the Internet a while then went to the sofa to watch Monk which I had taped last night. Actually, last Tuesday I taped Bones and House. I have only gotten to watch Bones. Ah, the life of a retiree! I couldn't even finish Bones before I turned off the TV and slept until about 2:30. I fed us all again, but ended up right back on the sofa.

I think I am worn out from yesterday. I had to go to the Post Office to get my passport. I spent two hours there and I will not describe any of it because it will make me furious. Suffice it to say that I now understand why someone would take an Uzi to the post office. Big Evil Grin.

I did finally look out the window and it has been raining all day. I'll blame it on that and epinephrine fatigue. I have been so "up" about my cruise, that I think I just bottomed out! LOL (Too tired or lazy to go find the correct emoticons.)

Who will be up late tonight? Wanna play? At 5:00 I finally made a pot of coffee, so I am awake and typing and fear I will be this way for a while. LOL

Hey Dot - I thought Alaska was part of the United States. Why do you have to get a passport to go there? They didn't succeed did they?

At some point we go to Canada. I think it is right before we leave and we fly home from Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
