I'm here. I have been checking in but haven't been posting. Things have been a little rough for me lately. I lost my job about 3 weeks ago and about 10 days after that my mother died of a heart attack. Losing my job has me terrified. In this economy companies are letting people go and others just aren't hiring. Losing my mother, though, has been devastating. I'll be fifty years old this year and I feel like an orphan. It's something that is hard to come to terms with at any age.

Oh Patty! I knew about the job but had no idea about your mom. BIG BIG :hgz: I hope you have other family close by that are helping you through this.

Sending you big hugs, hang in there it will all work out. That job loss happened to us and it was tough but we ended up much better off than if it had remained. Nothing can help with the loss of your Mom but time. Sending you both prayers and good thoughts I know it will all get better.

What type of work do you do Patti? Hopefully there will be just the right opening somewhere for you....prayers continue.

I am so sorry that your Mom passed away. After a period of time, the pain lessens but the hole in your heart will always be there for her. Moms do have a special place in our hearts for them.

Loosing your job on top of all that is tough.
