Zoey update

Zoey is eating normally and her weight seems to be fine. She really stunk when she came back, but after a good shower she smells better. Thought about washing her with Dawn, but hopefully another good shower will do the trick. She is getting along with Buchee and they are having some separate time as well. So I feel like it is going well and am not looking for a new home any time soon. I can say it was like Zoey took a vacation and everything is back to normal. :)

Unfortunately I have seen Tina's house a pretty bad, but I thought that was just that one time. Her house had a fire many years ago and since they do not have much money, some of it has stayed a bit unfinished. I don't always keep the tidiest place, but I really now think I screwed up. I should have gone to see her place one more time. She really does love birds and does well with her own. I could not think of any other person that could take Zoey in. Cockatoos need a bird person and Tina always wanted a U2 and she knew Zoey. I am just glad Zoey is back and doing okay. I did miss her and watching her today, she is so cute and special!!!!!!

If anything...at least you know that she is better off with you...even if she can be difficult sometimes.
I hope that things continue to improve with her.

What a great day it was with the birds!!! Zoey and Buchee played and preened each other which was beautiful to watch. Buchee kept coming to me for loving even with Zoey playing on top of his cage. So I am very glad Zoey is back and she is doing great!!! It will be interesting to see how she response to my husband. They haven't seen each other since she came back home.

Bebe and I played on my bed today and boy did she cuddle with me!! It was so wonderful since she used to be soooo agressive to me. I loved it!!! One of those days that you want to shout - "I love my birds!!"
