The baby blue headed poinus that hatched out on my birthday died this morning. We don't know why it looked ok yesterday and it was dead this morning. The rest of the eggs in the clutch were not any good and did not hatch. I closed off the nesting boxes and closed the holes in the cage today to give them a rest til spring. I guess it was not to be that I had a baby for my birthday gift this year. Maybe next year.
The house is coming along a litle at a time. We hope to move in the end of next week.
We want and need to get the birds moved before winter. We plan to move my mother in first than the birds.
