We could have group prayers, chants, and positive vibes at that time. Thinking about you. :)

Anna -

So glad your procedure went all right. Given the choices and risks you were facing, I certainly think you made the right decision.

One silver lining is no more morning sickness or confinements to bed or trips to the hospital. If you just had to have another baby, you and Andy would make good adoptive parents.

Now's a fine time for me to think of it, but you could have had some eggs frozen. Did you have your ovaries removed, or just have your tubes tied? If just tubes tied, you could probably still do that.

Not quite asleep yet but getting there soon. I just couldn't help myself. I had to go out into the aviary and say hello to all the precious babies out there. Wanda, I wanted to show my mom (not a bird person) your babies and she went out in the aviary to say hello with me. She said she avsolutely adored every one of them and they all let her love on them. Well...benny got a little excited and decided to show off on top of his cage. That scared mom a little until I explained that that's his way of showing that he's happy. LOL

Evelyn, the surgery is a new thing. It's not getting tubes tied, but rather they put a titanium coil up into the tubes and the body reacts be forming scar tissue. Within 3 months they should be completely scarred shut. I will still produce eggs, they just wont be able to travel anywhere. To date the proceedure is 100% affective as there has never been a documented case of pregnancy after the scarring. I chose that over getting tubes tied because it is non invasive (no cutting) and it doesn't affect the bodies hormones like getting tubes tied can.

We have discussed the idea of adoption sometime in the future and think that it would be a great thing to do...but we'll see what the future holds.
