I sure wish I could read each and every post and really respond. I have just been soooo busy and off and on struggling minorly with my health. School has been extremely stressful so far due to many changes and new expectations. Of course there was open house, parent conferences, harvesting the garden, canning, and this weekend canning fresh tuna - 7 dozen. We had 3 canners going in the garage. Yummmmm..

Overall health wise, I am doing okay. But I have started losing blood again and it makes me really tired. They put me on 2 strong antibiotics for a bladder infection and pouchtitis (I do not have a colin- a pouch made from my lower intestine). Well the bleeding became much worse, but they just felt it was the ulcers in my pouch again. So we watch the blood work to see if I need a blood transfusion and keep on the iron pills. Then I broke out in hives once the antibiotics stopped. They even effected my face at one point. But I do feel better now, but again yesterday afternoon, I just felt like dropping to the couch and sleeping and then of course I lost more blood.

So again I am really sorry I do not post very much. Sometimes I just check in quickly. Thank you for your help with Faile and my other birds. They are all doing well. My house is a reck, but at least they are playing and their cages are overall staying clean. A college friend just moved here from Idaho and she has been helping with the dishes and I cook.

Oh, I am still Gluten free since Sept. 1st, but after taking a food allergy test (blood work) gluten didn't show up and wheat again was very minor. It said I was really allergic to cow's milk. I really haven't felt like the gluten free diet has made me feel any better. So I really need to get off milk products. I got off the milk, but am really struggling with the cheese since I love it and it helps my blood sugar in a pinch.

Well, thanks for listening. Sorry it so long, but I wanted to explain why I am not around very often.

Life can keep many of us busy from time to time...being in the boat many times I always appreciate those that do step in. One might have a little time to write something but if you are like me I am usually brain dead and only get by with reading.

I am sorry to hear you are not your best again and send you healing thoughts. Take care of yourself as you are needed.

Don't worry about us. Just let us know you are ok from time to time. Sorry you are having such a rough time. Any chance of a medical retirement?

A friend also asked me if I could take some time off or work part time. Working part time would still be almost working the whole time with the prep time, etc. Taking time off, I would have to prepare lessons and keep in contact with the sub. We are short good subs right now, so I would probably get behind and the kids would lose out. I just need to eliminate as many stressers outside of work as possible. I am trying to problem solve right now. Thanks for the suggestion and I will keep it in mind if life doesn't get better. Thanks again.

What about a Sabbatical? Do you have seven years in that system? Even if it is not a medical Sabbatical, you can go to school online. Take four computer courses.
