I can't help but post one more photo tonight. BatToo was running around our bed like a silly person, cackling to himself (probably because he knew how silly he looked.) But he kept flying off the bed, ran out the door and down the hall. He paused where the hallway forks out into the livingroom and just kept staring. Sometimes I use Gabe's playpen to block the hallway to keep him seperated from birdies when I feel it would be best for him not to be wandering around while a bird is out. BatToo was so curious about Gabe that he ran down the hall at least 5 times just to take a look at him. Gabe waved through the mesh barrier saying "Hiiii!"

Anna - It looks like Bat-Too and Gabe have found each other. I think they will have a love-ship.

Just so long as they don't take it to the mothership...

You have the most adorable family! Bat-too is just so curious, and it looks like Gabe just wants to play fetch. The problem is they would both want to throw the ball!!!!!

Hope you day goes wonderful Anna, we will be thinking of you!!!!

Bat-too looks like he is playing hide and seek. He's hiding his face against the wall and counting to 10; and Gabe is a real cutie--but how could he not be when he belongs to you.

Isn't it just precious when they go to check out each other, especially when they say, "Hi."

While Blusher (RFM) was still in isolation in my bedroom, I missed Tommie (BFA) and went looking for her. I found her in the isolation room looking up at Blusher. When I got there, she said, "Biiiiiirrrrrrdddd." Yep, it was a bird! :)

That is just the cutest picture, Anna. I love the looks they're giving each other.
BTW, how is you house always so clean with a toddler, an infant and, what, 64 birds?

BatToo came inside this afternoon before I took my napand was romping on the bed again. This time he discovered a little princess. He seems very interested in little people. Being a mother hen, I didn't let him get too close, but he seems very thoughtful when he sees small children.

Ah yes, and then he found something else to amuse himself with. Benny, that's not your sock.

Beets me! Actually, I'm still trying to figure out where this misconception of it being "clean" came from.

I guess I'll have to change my name to old wet hen. That is an adorable photo, but think about how fast they move. Had that bird decided to lunge at your princess, there is nothing you could have done. Sorry.

Dot, you are absolutely right. It's probably best not to take a chance like that. Thanks.

You all are such dears... Thanks Anna.

Yep - I love the pics.

Having a Too and talking with many other folks that also have Toos.... It seems like the larger Toos give zero warning when they lunge or bite. I have scars to prove it.

Anna -

Save that photo for the Picture Book.

I can't believe you do all that you do and still have time to take pictures and take a nap!

And the concept of being clean comes from just viewing the videos and photos. The family room, where the birds are, is clean for about 2 minutes after I finish cleaning it. I can hardly turn around before there are seeds on the floor, as well as bird-made toothpicks, shredded paper, and blobs of whatever they have to eat that's soft on the wall. Not to mention bird poop if their cage doors are open.

We have a person who comes in to clean on Fridays, and I have to clean that room before she gets there to clean--otherwise, I would be so embarrassed.
