I had Benny the BatToo riding around on my shoulder this evening and he discovered the wonderful thing that holds my hair together. Behold, it is the most wonderous and mystical hair tie. Here's how it all played out.

The Discovery:

"Ah-ha, now it's mine!": http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa154/Foxersartist/Fosters/HairTie2.jpg

"Who says I have to give it back?!":

Moving on to infinitely more valuable things to steal:

What a hoot. With me it is a comb. When my bangs get long, I twist them up and stab a comb into them. Oh, that is manna to the birdies. :)

What is it with the tooz and hair bands? Whenever I cross stitch Carl will fly over and steal my rubberband out of my hair too!!!!

Even my TIELS will steal them. My Aimers will twill it around his neck, on purpose, and have the other tiel chase him around the house with it on.

Needless to say, Orbit will do the same. Not very safe to have something around a birds neck, and I removed it as soon as I could snap a photo but the little stinker was playing with it and then flipped it around his neck and went hopping around to show his new necklace off. He was having a blast and I think we both had a laugh over it.

My son's Quaker "Buzbee" loves to pull his leg hairs out, or eyebrows whatever he can get to. Harry wants your eyeglasses or the TV remote(To contact the mother ship?) and knives>:}

I've had my teils for 13 years. I stopped wearing jewelry 12 years ago. Too painful (and expensive!).

I used to have pierced ears...before I had birds. I wore them so infrequently after I became a bird person that the holes closed up. I udually only wear my wedding bands and a special ring hubby got me before we were married. Most other jewlery is reserved for special outings.

Oh ya??? I never had pierced ears until I GOT A BIIRD.

Do you know how hard it is to get the top of your ear to heal with a hole right through the cartledge??? On BOTH ears???

It's funny now but it sure hurt then.

I had cosmetic surgery! I hired a blue front amazon to give me a third dimple. It's just the cutest thing. ;)

My husband can identify with Larry. The first day we got Harry his ear was pierced. Got to mark those humans so they can be identified.:crys:

Gosh Benny has some gorgeous eyes. not to mention his crest (I have crest envy - Lance (E2) shreds hers). Cassius the hawkhead is utterly obsessed with hair ties also. :haha:
