My used camera from eBay arrived a short while ago so I have the power of a camera in my little grasp again. Unfortunately, the camera is NOT in the condition that it was said to be in and does not have a lot of life left in it. It is not quite as good as my old camera, so I am still really missing it. We haven't decided if we will just keep this one for now and save up to buy a really nice one or if we will send this one back. But for now, I can take pictures!!!
Here are some photos of the kids I took last night and today. There is only one of Gabe as I broke out the camera today while he was napping. There are a couple of cute videos too. Katie says "hi!" in one of them and becomes totally infatuated with a bright yellow birdy she sees on the other side of the baby gate. In the other, she is falling asleep in her high chair, which was an event that took place this afternoon. We have never seen her do this before, so we were really amused. Poor baby. We pulled her out of there and put her down for a nap just as soon as the video stopped.
Gabe is over 2 years old now and starting to talk in sentences. Katie will be 1 next month! :eek: It seems like I was just in the hospital having her a few months ago, and yet, how could there have been life without her?
