This is my wife, Becki, with our male Patagonian Conure, Cheyenne. He is fully flighted and is beautiful when he fly's.. as are all birds.

For anyone that gets Bird Talk, look at the mystery bird in this months Bird Talk and look at Cheyenne. I think the mystery bird is a Patagonian Conure. They are the only bird that has feathers over their nose.

My wife's, five year old, female Jardine, Olive. She is fluffed out and looking mean because she thinks that finally she has a chance to get me. I like her, but I don't spend enough time with her for her to really trust me.

This is Shirrah, my wife's three year old Senegal. A woman had her and her teen age boys and husband were not very nice to Shirrah, so she isn't fond of men. She is very smart, learns very fast, and is a good girl as long as you are a woman. A man..?? She will draw blood if you get close enough. And she is like greased lightning when she comes after you. I like her and have been bitten many times trying to make friends with her.

Monet, a four year old, male Meyers. Actually our first bird. We bought him from a pet store. We raised him, his first couple of years as a girl. We didn't know. "You sure are a pretty girl" etc etc.... DNA testing showed him to be a boy. But I think now he isn't sure what he is... Very moody. You have to be very careful and watch for his body language. Somedays he loves to be held and scratched. Other days, it's "I've got a headache. Don't touch me !!"

This is Picasso. Monet's brother. He wasn't suppose to come home with us, but when we went to leave the store with Monet, he looked so pitiful, I told the girl "We'll take him too."

He is just a layed back, good old boy, that never met anyone that he doesn't like. My daughter wants him after we are gone. He gets along with all the other birds, dog, people. He is the only bird that Chloe will allow in my lap when she is sitting with me. A really good, reasonably quiet, happy guy.
