Thank you HappyBirdy family for your support in the ongoing care of Wanda's Flock. Shane and I are nearly fully recovered from our trip and our car is now in the shop for a shattered moon roof and cracked windshield (it was a long trip to Florida and back). I'm on waitlist for a rental car and am temporarily stranded at home (blech). My cell phone is still missing and was nowhere to be found in the car when we douched it out. (:p) so if anybody is trying to get a hold of me, sorry.
The way this community has come together continues to amaze me.
Thank You All Very Much.
PS.
King Tucker and the legion of tiels have decided DNA samples were much needed after being abandoned for a week.

So sorry to hear the trip home was so rough. Snuggle up with those vampire birds of yours and have an easy night home on the couch together!

Michelle,
You know, I thought of hopping on I10 an catching up to you several times! I wanted to trade my babies back for your cooler! Somehow, I didn't like that trade:confused:
Anyway, that's my attempt at humor for today. Thank you for what you did. You'll never know what you, Anna and Larry did for me by pulling that together so fast. It might give me a chance at something that I might not have had otherwise. God Bless you all.:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:: bowdown:
Somehow, I know that they aren't that far away at all. I have lurked here all day and probably will -forever!

Wanda,
Dolly and I were bonding and talking the whole way, and I just pray everything works the way you want it too. I'll visit your babies as much as I can Anna doesn't live far and I adore going over and visiting her and her family and flock. :) Right now, we're missing the batteries in the cooler more than the cooler lol. On a serious note, thank you as well. your babies are amazing and Dolly is just a joy. she was blowingme ALLLL kinds of kissies and letting me cuddle her. hopefuly i can go by tomorrow to get some special M2 and U2 cuddles!

Battoo is a pretty good cuddler. He loves to put his beak against your nose. It's either eskimo kisses or he's trying to make you cross-sighted trying to focus on him. :eyes:

Well, as much as I have been pestering Anna, I might as well be next door!:o

I highly doubt Anna would call it pestering! She needs as many birdie friends as possible!

I like being pestered. You have to remember that I have only been out of the house by myself 3 times in the past...well...7 1/2 months (since I was on bedrest for 4 months before katie came along). I would go seriously nutty without you guys. HaHa...though I think you all make me nutty in other ways. ;)

But you have real children and 19 birds. We need to know at what time we can pester you, and you have to understand that you can tell us "Not now. Maybe an hour from now.... Or maybe a week from today." :haha::haha::haha:

Well probably not first thing in the morning, because from what we all hear Kaite is a night owl, and Gabe is an early riser!

I will be the first to admit that if anyone calls before 10am-11am, it is likely that I will be woken up. Andy gets up much earlier to take care of birdies, bless his heart, but I just can't handle mornings. Lucky for us, both our kids don't seem fond of mornings either. But seriously...with 14 parrots around, I'm not so sure a phone call is a pester to any of us. The kids seem to sleep right through most stuff. That will likely change when they get older. If I don't want to talk about it, I just tell the world to go away by staying in bed, unplugging the computer and not answering the phone. But now why would I want to do that? :smiles:

Phones that unplug are the best invention since sliced bread! :haha:
