I'm pretty nervous. :skerd: I am scheduled to have a tubal ligation tomorrow. I know this is a common procedure and an out patient surgery, but I don't have a very good history with surgery. The first one I had I woke up during surgery, the second one I started to hemorrhage during the surgery, and the last one I had nearly killed me. I had an allergic reaction to the demerol, and my blood pressure dropped to the point of my organs shutting down before they got it back up. Then when they flushed it out I started vomiting and opened the sutures and started bleeding internally and had to have a transfusion. Of course the Dr.s know this and are being very precautious, they have all sorts of extras scheduled to be in the O.R. and they are going to use a very mild pain medicine because I am also allergic to morphine. Needless to say my nerves are shot. All I can think is if something were to happen to me how my poor babies will take it. So if you all dont mind I would love to have a little prayer from my online family, for me and my at home family. I go in at 6am which is in about 5 hrs from now (my time) and am scheduled to go under at 8 am, they said that they will probably keep me a little while just to be safe, but I should still be able to come home the same day. Thank you in advance, and hopefully I will be able to get back to you all and let you know how it went soon.
