My RFM rides the short bus. She is the only bird I have that walks through poop and tracks it everywhere. The other day I picked her up and just as I was putting her on the big tree, I realized her foot was wet. (When I first got her, I thought that all RFMs had yellowish green feet.) I went to the kitchen and got a dishcloth. When I reached for her, she flew, but she hovered and then landed on my hand. I proceeded to clean the offensive foot while she complained the entire time (in bird). Finally I said, "Let me check that foot one more time" and she immediately said, "Back your butt up." I guess I had that one coming.
