Now I have had Angel for 18 months now and this was the first. I hope I handle it right. I never take him out of his cage in the morning if he is screaming. So for the longest time I would just hear him talking then I would get him out. Well this morning I go and day Hello and uncover him. I open his door and he jumped on top of Gobbles cage and starting trying to bite her. I tried to get him off the cage but he hung on tight then bit me. Not hard but enough to say "bad bird" I put him back with lots of struggle. I went into the kitchen and boy did he scream. I didn't say a word. Waited 5 min, then went in with his oatmeal and just stood there still not saying anything. Angel stopped yelling and said "Hello" I said here is your food and I sat next to him while he ate and I read a magizine. Told him to be a good bird and asked if he wanted to go outside.

Sounds like you did fine. You'll now have to watch them like hawks because someone is ticked off about the other bird.

Sounds like you did good ... no overreacting seems to be the way to go with these beauties...

Yes, glad she is flighted. Gobbles did fine, just got on my shoulder as always. I tell you it's just like raising the boys. Kind of scary.
