Well for those of you that don't know I have a sweet quiet little BE2 named Carl. He is such a ham, and very much a "chicken bird" (Bonnie:hihihi:)
I am his prefered person, well that was until we moved in with my mom whom he loves. Every couple of weeks my Dad will come over for dinner, and this video is the first thing Carl does EVERY time dad comes for a visit. Enjoy...
PS: Normally Carl is not all fluffed up like that, I simply had that camera out, and that evil thing scares my little softie...

That is adorable. Thanks for posting that. Tell your dad he is way lucky. Each time my Scarlet sticks her head down my t-shirt, she belly laughs. Of course, the RFM has picked it up also.

Carl is now 8 y/o, we have had him for 2 1/2 years now.
When he plays with dad is his most excited time. This last trip he actually was curling up in the shirt and trying to cover himself up like covers! He is just too cute, but he actually put a hole in the shirt this last visit. We had dad leave his shirt at our house and he will change into it when he visits now....

LOL, your dad has his own "visiting" shirt.
Kinda nice, saves holes and possible poo on yours dads shirt. Good thinking!;)
That was as wild as Carl gets?

Occassionally he will get a little excited when we play ball and ends up flinging himself at the ball on the cage, but yep that is as excited as my guy gets. He mostly likes to sit on his cage next to the couch and cluck at me, or sit on my stand while I do my cross stitch. He pretty much just wants to play for around 10 min each day then the rest of the night to be told "good boy" and snuggled with....

:ugh:No if we send them to Dot, all of our personal data that they have been collecting for the past who knows how long will be broadcast on HB when the next message to the mother ship is sent!!!!!

We can send them down to Larry's for a long weekend. He ONLY HAS ONE BIRD, and my Carl (who prefers men to women 100%) would love to sit and cuddle with him all weekend, and Solo could enertain Baby!
I think we have it! :yeah:

Sweet, Dot is out, Jill refuses and Larry has no choice!
Now I am beginning to feel old and helpless. What on earth is the above statement about?

Bonnie,
We LOVE our little Carl, we have called him "chicken bird" ever since we got him home. He is scared of everything, and all he ever wants is to love and cuddle. That is one of our loving terms for our fids... He is the chicken of the house, the first to run or fly away! And your Chicken is a sweetheart and does nothing but help to promote that endeering term.
:o:D;)

Carl, your such a stud!
I think it's so neat that he is responsive to other people who come over. And seriously, he has to teach Benny how to do that spinning thing! I play peek a boo games like your dad is doing with Carl, but he hides under the covers instead. They are such soft hearted birds.

Carl is very sweet. Who said BE-2s were ugly. He is beautiful. His little eye patches make him look very wise.

I am hoping Solos bags under his eyes will always be bigger than mine!
