Well, I brought her back last night and the two were too excited to sleep. Linus was wandering his cage into the wee hours and Theo didn't want to be in the bedroom with me and she made sure I knew it.
I went to work and got home around six. I let them have about 15 minutes together and they busied themselves preening each other. I took LInus out for a walk and to visit with the neighbors who doted on him as usual. He was in heaven. He didn't seem to have any problem knowing that Theo was in the next room. He just went about his business. I think he secretly enjoyed that she was banished from his living room. I am going to make sure that he continues to feel that it is his room. I alternated between the two rooms giving Linus the lion's share of my time. He is happily covered for the night. Not a peep.
Theo is on my shoulder right now. Until I have everything figured out, this will be the time when she gets me to herself.
Libby, my quaker has been outwardly challenging her. She has done a couple of mock aerial attacks (fly-bys) which Theo ignored. When I stopped typing to pinch off some pin feathers on Libby's head Theo got very jealous and lunged. My not-so-smart quaker stood her ground and lunged back. She is unconcerned about the size difference. I am going to have to watch the two of them carefully. Poor teils just got used to having the quaker in the room.

Long story short. So far so good.

Looks like you have a balancing act.

I think you will figure it out. They do tell us what they want - we just have listen very carefully to learn their language.

Keep us posted.

Fingers crossed that linus' mood will stay pleasant and that everyone in the other room will adjust. You are doing a great job!
