Average Weights

Does anyone know where I can find a list of *average* weights per species? I usually judge whether or not my birds are a healthy weight more by feeling the keel, since every bird is a little different, but I want to have a log of weights in case somone should become ill in the future and that way we will know what a healthy weight should be. I'm curious to know though, how my bird's weights compare based on an average weight for each species. Anyone know where I can find weights for ringnecks, red lories, BE2, OWA, DYHA, B&G Macaw, and GW Macaw?

Nice article and thanks for posting Diane. Weights are so important and one indicator of poor health..wt loss or too rapid of weight gain or...a very fluffy one LOL
