:confused:Cloud, my 8 1/2 year old Goffin too, has been on Bean Cuisine for his cooked meals all his life. I just picked up a container of Cinnamon Sunrise Beak Appetit. If anyone uses this, can it be frozen in small servings once it's been cooked? The container says it can be refrigerated for 4 to 5 days. Also, has anyone only cooked 1/2 the packit and saved the other half for later use?

Hey Diane.
Yes, you can freeze it, but be smarter than me and "seal-a-meal it. Freezer bags do not prevent the freezer burn that occurs quickly.

Thanks Patty. When I cook Bean Cuisine, about a 7 day supply, I freeze it in 3oz containers. Cloud does not like new things, be it food, toys or perches. I did get him to take ZuPreen pellets, but he'll only take it as a treat if I hand him one. I put 5 in his seed dish, but all five are still there at the end of the day when I empty his bowl. He will not touch new chew toys until the old one is totally pulverized. If I put a new perch in his cage, he'll keep unscrewing it. He has several shredding toys, but they've been untouched for months. He prefers junk mail, paper lunch bags or the newpaper out of the poop tray. He's a real booger. I'm planning on introducing the Beak Appetit by putting a little on top of his Bean Cuisine. When I tried this method to add veggies to his cooked food, he boycotted the cooked meal for days.:beathead:
