I'm not sure what's going on with my princess today, but she's had to be in her cage most of it. Stella has lunged and flown at me 3 times today going for a bite. I'm not sure what's gotten her SO wound up but for my safety I can't let her out. How I've managed to avoid all 3 attempts is beyond me! I feel bad for leaving her in, but her being out seems isn't going to happen:(
Oh, and maybe this has something to do with it... She hurked for me the 1st time today.

She's in love and now wants to kiss your beak.

Or maybe... :eats:

  I think I'll pass on being lunch.
Love hurts; but they didn't tell me it bites!

Maybe she's caught on that you're getting the jolly red giant and isn't too happy about it...

I've been telling them about Syd. Stella isn't too impressed with the 2 statues on the wall, I wonder what they'll think in a month when there's a real one!

I wonder if they'll check the wall to make sure one didn't come to life lol.

Hey Brenda...

I have been re-reading The Parrot Problem Solver and I keep finding new things in it.

I think you will find the aggression section to be helpful for what Stella is going through today. It starts on page 45 - but I think you will find pages 52 and 53 the most helpful.

Bonnie - I think pages 54 and 55 explain the problem you are having with Daisy and changing her food bowls while she is in her cage.

This is the best book ever. Every time I read it I learn something new... or apply somethings I forgot about.

Ok Larry... what gives?
You've got an awful lot of free time today. Did you quit your job? I hope you told your boss what for. (HAHA)

Thanks Larry, I'll check it out.

LOL I know what you mean... Matt's been playing a video game and I've been playing with the birds and napping. I should really get with it though, those books don't study themselves for the tests Monday and Tuesday!!! LOL

Today I cleaned cages, washed rugs, vacumed, cleaned the kitchen, mopped, did laundry, made a new cage cover for Stellas cage, fixed spaghetti, helped hubby in the garage, I feel overworked; maybe I need to come and watch this relaxation stuff in action.
