Do I need to put species (BFA) in messages?

I am in the habit of typing Tommie (BFA) because I can't keep up with what birds people have. Does the signature take care of that or should I go back to specifying which species I am talking about?

I think that is a great solution. As we grow there will just me more people & birds to keep straight and many of us have MBS :nuts: so it just becomes mighty tricky keeping up with who is on first.

And some of us (meaning me) aren't too bright. Which solution is the one you like - typing (BFA) or using the signature?

Or me missing the answer-I think (BFA) is quicker & more difficult to over look as some of us are in too big a hurry & don't read the siggy each time.
