I have read far too many posts here about companion birds being afraid of towels. For safety sake - every companion parrot should be comfortable being toweled. There will be a time when you will have to wrap your bird in a towel for either getting them out of danger or for emergency medical treatment in your home or at the vets.
A medical situation is frightening enough for both your bird and you without adding additional stress with an unfamiliar toweling procedure.
Start now training this vitally important step in the process of properly taking care of your feathered friends.
You can get an excellent book on training - titled "The Parrot Problem Solver" at www.goodbirdinc.com (http://www.goodbirdinc.com)
