I don't know what it is, but something about Bbodi just keeps me thinking about him. How is he? Are you able to work through any issues?

LOL, you guys are too funny.
Bhodi is doing OK but I feel I only have the resources to bring him so far in this journey and then it will be up to someone else. Bhodi has mostly stopped screaming, except sometimes when we leave the aviary for a few minute or almost always whenever someone new has entered the aviary. He also alerts us that someone is on our property but other than these things he has settled down some. He is still very easily triggered by most things but I am coming to learn that this is pretty common with really hormonally charged cockatoos and being very cautous around them (an especially him) is a must. Bhodi has never biten me (not a real bite anyway), but he sure lets most everyone else have it. There is something about me that makes him feel secure and he turns to me for shelter from everything that is scary. I really worry that he will not find this kind of security with someone else, but pray daily that he will find his person. He has the softest heart and he is truely the most beautiful cockatoo I have ever seen. He needs someone who will be able to open up a new chapter in his life. He needs a really cool outlet...whether that is free flighting, or trick training, or some other thing. I have had lots of local suggestions just to send him to a sanctuary, but I just can't bring myself to consider that possibility. Bhodi loves people, not other birds and he deserves the best life possible. I appreciate you asking about him Patty. Keep him in your prayers that his saving grace will come along soon.
