We had a wonderful evening with bonnie while she was here and then they headed for home this morning. (It's always such a joy to see you, Miss Bonnie.) I imagine everyone is curious to know how things went. Sometimes pictures speak louder than words so before I say anything else, I'm going to post a picture.

Sometimes birds have different ideas than us about the way things will go. Bonnie came eagerly hoping for her long awaited african grey, Pookie, but there was another bird here who had something to say about that! Pookie may or may not have done well with Bonnie but was showing some signs that this may not have been the very best match. We will never know for sure. Daisy on the other hand? Daisy and Bonnie were made for one another and Daisy's reaction to Bonnie was instant and strong. "Daisy, Daisy, I'm crazy in love with you!"
I can't wait to see how things go when they get home!
