These were taken yesterday after the bath, just a little pouty. He is gaining feathers where able but has a new open area on his upper chest. On the bright side he is more outgoing and much stronger now. http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa264/Firefly_mom/P1000366.jpg

oops, the pic of Fred is gone?

He looks like such a little lover..... Your e-cone is not clear? He is sure doing so much better under your care..... This is such a long draining experience. I'm so happy he has you to help him through this. He needs as much support and re-assurance as you can give..... Does he enjoy the Harry and other birds being around? I think they bother my Carl some times....

Try the links see if they are ok for you. I think he is curious about Harry who is a bit jealous of him. He hisses at the dogs and ignores the cats. My daughter just sewed a row of feathers to the bottom of hi jacket I will try & post hat photo tonight, he looks a bit like he is wearing a tutu. He is not too sure what to make of it yet.

Carl is very nervous about the cats, and the little tiels love to jump over to his cage and give him some back talk. It amazes me, I of course run over and take them away, this is NOT safe, but I think it makes him anxious. Of course he is nervous with Duch too, and the hubby too. Poor guy only has his mommie that makes him feel safe, everyone else is a predator to him.... And I wonder why he has a mutilation problem....

Carl just loves to play with feathers. Especaially the ones that have the really long shaft on them. I only give him ones that are not white so he does not thing that pulling and chewing on his own are ok, but he does love to play with them. I put beads on them and make them fun. Sewing them on to a vest is a GREAT idea. Give that daughter of your a huge hug!!!! I will have to try that with his next vest!

I think Fred is going to be the first "can-can" cockatoo in the line up.
:hpydnc:
Carl would too, but he is very camera/stage shy....

Fred has no no camera fear-he just looks at it as another part of the furniture.
