How to use Smilies feature???

How do I use Smilie feature so I can use them in my threads or post? I have been looking all over and have no clue how to use them.Am I missing something?

First let me tell you that this is the village idiot trying to help you. When you open a thread to reply or start a post, look to the right of the Message Box. There are 18 of them over there. Just click on one and it appears where your cursor is. Click on the word "More" beneath those smilies and a new world of smilies opens up. I think the ones below the message box go beside the title of your new thread, but I am not positive about that.

Now if you have to go someplace on your User CP to allow them to show, that is way out of my league.

ok, i am in quick reply. The guys just didn't show up. I have about 10 little colored guys at the bottom of the page and click to choose one that goes with the message but dang...can't get them in the room here!

Ok Iti Hoa's person I just edited one in for you. I opened the go advanced button then type in the one you like from the posting rules box where you can see smilies are ON should work for you or wait for further instructions from the mother ship or our tkkie wizzards on the board. It took me a while to figure out for myself too. :alien:
