Tiel showed up the Pappa!!!!

We were getting ready for work this morning and doing our normal routine. Amy (male tiel) was being feisty this morning and chewing on the grout where the marble meets the wall. Papa told him no, and moved him away from the area that he was chewing on.

Amy fluffed up and walked straight back over to that spot and continued to chew. Papa then tossed a towel in the sink (close to the Amy). This starteled him and he flew to the ground right in front of me. Amy then all t-off turned around and did full spread eagle, claiming his turf, and walked over to the mommie for love.....

Yep the momma picked him up and let him know that he was the big tiel of the house, and that Papa was just mean.....:haha: Sure made my morning!

Aw! The daddies are always mean! Unless it's him trying to hand out SUPER big pieces of string cheese, then momma's the mean one to steal everything you haven't ate away. Too cute Julie.

What is it with the string cheese anyways? We know its not good for them, yet they will literally jump through hoops to get to the stuff?

I dunno. I will give Echo little bitty pieces and have to scarf the rest to avoid a very jealous bird. Chicken is the same way, you better not share that little bit until you've ate the rest, otherwise you get the meanest look I've ever seen from a too!
