My Daughters Backyard....

Here is a few pics of my daughters backyard, there are horses, elpacas, a cat and bambi.... somewhere out there is a cow and a black lab... dont think they made it into the pics though....:smiles: The baby deer was released back to the wild as soon as he was healthy enough... (his momma was killed by a car)...

This guy lives inside her house... he is 50 years old... she bought him from an old man whom she has known for years (he couldn't give him the care he needed)... he passed away a few months ago. (the former owner not the bird)....

what a pretty boy! He looks more like an Orange wing to me. Can you post a better picture of him?? I would love to see the coloring of an older Zon.

I am 100% certain that he is an orange wing amazon. They have those almond shaped eyes. Chrissy, your daughters yard is lovely. I would LOVE to live in a place like that with all those animals. I just want to hug that llama!

She lives in N. Mississippi... yes we are all animal lovers some more than others. Here's a couple more pics..
Anna those are Elpaca's smaller than the llamas they have wool kind of like sheep...

How in the world did I miss the first set of pictures? What a great view! My inlaws are selling their acearage and moving to town:( my MIL has pics of a wild baby deer sitting in her lap and they have a pair of owls that nest there.
What a nice place to live!

She could charge admission. The last pic with the cat really threw me for a second. I saw the ears on the deer and thought they were wing for a brief moment. I was thinking: "what kind of bird is THAT"

I will try to find the video I have of about 6 or 7 hummingbirds that gather near her front door.... I don't know when or how she turned into a country girl...:smiles:
