This weekend she was dancing around her cage and where in the world she heard this, is beyond me! I say it once in awhile, but I didn't think I ever said it around the fids.
whatever! :haha::nanr:
The best thing is... I FINALLY have a bird that TALKS!!

Brenda!!!!
Yippie, I'm so excited that the little miss finally talked! So what is her voice like? Duch has a very clear girl voice, and Carl's is very raspy like a smokers..... Do tell!
Oh and my Duch said a NEW word over the long weekend too! She went over to her water dish and said "Julie water", apparently her dish had not been changed that morning yet, and it had a little bit of floating pellets in it from last nights dinner.... She scares me she is so intelligent!

Her voice is very high pitched, much like a little girl especially when she screetches! :haha:
Congratulations. That is great news.

Her voice may change a bit as she starts to talk more. Duch will talk in hubby's voice too, but normally to yell at the other birds to be quiet. When talking to us she speaks in a little girl voice, mostly because it gets hubby's attention!

LOL, that's funny! Congrats Cassie! Now it's time to learn "I love you" so you can melt your mommas heart!
Benny Boy usually sounds like me and talks in that mushy, high pitched, sweet voice. I have to say, it sounds the most adorable when he says "go potty" LOL. It figures! He also does the deep scratchy voice that Julie mentioned, but seems to alternate between the two voices frequently, especially when he's really hyper.
