Lost Meyer Parrot in Kingwood Texas

I was contacted from a friend in Texas whos friend Meyer Parrot flew away yesterday afternoon.She is looking for as much help as possible so if you can pass this on please.

It is a Meyers parrot. Gray head,yellow shoulders,teal chest. One year old and tame. He flew away 4/28/08

Far side of town from me but will keep my eyes & ears open. Have her list it on Craigs list lost & found & maybe under pets too & call all local Vet clinics. Maybe Easy or Wanda can help keep an eye out , they are on the North side at least.

My friend just emailed me and notified me that it was found 8 miles away.It has been reunited with it's owner.:yeah:

WOW! That is so fantastic! I wonder what percentage of lost bird are found? Anyone know?
