Have you every heard "The Quaker Song"
Here's the words to the tune of I'm a Little Teapot
"I'm a little Quaker, green and stout,
Open up my cage and let me out.
Better pick me up or else I'll squawk,
Rub my tummy and then I'll talk."
Now in this video he is saying first
Ready? Go! then when he's done
he says YEAAAAA

Actually there are quite a few on my quaker group that don't talk. But they say when worked with no matter the age sometimes you can get them to talk and say a few words.

You would think that with all the mouths in our house she would say something. She's a rehome that fell from the nest and was handfed then someone brought her to me.It doesn't matter either way.I've always wanted one.;)

I've seen it but I just watched it twice! LOL it's TOO cute!
That is absolutely precious. Is that your Quaker?
You will never believe this, but I promise it is true. I am always looking for new songs to sing to the birdies. Just yesterday I was trying to make up words for "I'm a little teapot." Now I have them. Thanks.

No, not my quaker, someone on my group, mine refuses to learn the first sentence! Here's a few more they suggested:
To the tune of Bingo:
There was a little Quaker Bird and Gator was his name-o,
G-A-T-O-R,
G-A-T-O-R,
G-A-T-O-R,
And Gator was his name-o.
To the tune of You Are My Sunshine:
You are my Kaylee, my only Kaylee
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear how much I love you
Please don't take my Kaylee away
To the tune of How Much Is That Doggie In The Window:
How much is that Gator in the window? *(arf, arf!)*
The one with the waggley tail
How much is that Gator in the window? *(arf, arf!)*
I do hope that Gator's for sale
(My birds love doing the arf-arf part!)

I do this all the time with Chicken. He doesn't participate but he stares like he's hypnotized.
I also do 'My Chicken Lies over the Ocean' and 'Jesus Loves the Little Birdies'
