You can see in these two videos that Django LOVES the "porch" on his new cage!

Django was in a talkative mood today. In this video, he says "I am a Maximillian's Pionus." He also says, "Django, what kind of bird are you?" and "You're so smart."

In this one, Django says "Gimmekiss", and we sing a weird duet for "Hi ho hi ho it's off to work I go." (I'm weird, I know.)

Simply amazing! I can't believe he can get all those words out...and in such a clear voice!!! I have never heard a pionus talk before so that was a real treat! Thanks for sharing and I hope you share more soon! I'm just in love with Django!

Aw... thanks, you two! He is my sweet boy!
He loves telling me what kind of bird he is! LOL!
His voice is so different from Gillie's too.
Thanks for the compliments, Kristy and Anna!

LOL Thanks guys!
Dot, thanks for the compliment on his set-up.
Jill, the "Gimmekiss" is sweet. I have to watch his mood when he says it, however. Once he did use that to set me up. LOL! ;) Luckily, I saw that open beak coming before he grabbed me.

Michelle,

I have learned the same thing with Baby... avoid the sucker punch.

What is it with these birds - no matter the species? They become quite good with the sweet set-up and then "wham".

He is just full of it! But the best part is he is so ready to share his vocab with the camera. It can be so difficult to catch them being clever & have the evidence to prove it! Yea you & letting you know he is beautiful too.

LOL! This is true! Django was camera shy for the longest time! He's getting better about it, though!

Now if I could just get him to stop freaking out when he sees the vet...

My Duch loves to lure us in also. She has gotten better as she gets older, but sometimes she still loves to "get you; get you"
