View Full Version : Can you lie on the floor alone while the birds are out?
Alternate Subject: The winners tonight are Tommie (BFA) and Fergie (Scarlet).
I am old an tired and when I stop to rest, someone joins me. It was easier when Blusher (RFM) couldn't land. Tonight as I lay just for a few seconds, I was joined by Blusher. After she got down and started walking toward the newspaper under Fergie's swing, the one with poop on it (this IS Captain Poopie Foot after all), I picked her up and put her on my butt. At the same time I felt her crawling up my back. Just as my brain registered "This is not possible," I heard a trill. Leroy (YNA) had come to defend me or play with us. Both Leroy and Blusher are now incarcerated. Tommie and Fergie are the good girls. I brought Fergie with me up her and left Tommie pleasuring herself on her cage. I have five dollars that says when I get back downstairs, she is in a macaw tray pigging out. Any takers?
Now about your Habitat.... Can you lie on the floor alone while the birds are out?

 How sad is this....
I took Dot's instructions last night and layed on the floor. Carl (BE2) talked, pranced, danced, and even tossed toys around on his cage, but did he come down and visit me NO! I was so crushed....
He kept saying hi, waving his wings hello and his right foot too, and saying what a good boy he is and how much he loves me but did he come and visit me NO! Not a singe one of the 4 birds got off thier cage....
I see where I rank in this household!!!!! :sadd: :teary:

I agree! I'm sure Carl called the mothership to ask if anyone else had experienced strange human behavior last night. :alien3:

They knew you weren't tired. I think they only mess with us when we are trying to rest. :haha:

Thanks all, I thought it was a fun/exciting idea. I eat dinner sitting indian style on the floor each night next to the coffee table. Normally the tiels eat dinner on my lap, so I figured they would at least visit me.....
I'll try again when I'm tired.....

I lay down on the floor to see what would happen, and one of my dogs got very upset and came over and nudged me and whined until I got up. The birds paid no attention.

They probably thought it was a test to see how well they follow house rules.
In my house, on the other hand, if Cloud even sees my dog Hunter lying on the floor, he takes it as an invitation to collect a DNA sample for the mothership.
