Chamomile tea

Those of you that give your birdies chamomile tea ... how often do you give it too them...

Hi Chrissy, I give it to Dixie whenever she is going thru something stressful (like recently after all the Vet visits she's had). It does calm her and she loves it. Other than that I don't know how often is OK to give it to them.

I use it the same way. If we know there is a very active day I will give it to him in the early evening to help him slow down. Or if he is too wound up & over stimulated what ever time of day I will offer him some tea & that does change his focus. After sipping a bit of tea he usually preens and settles down. A good time to read a book with him. I haven't used it more often that twice in a week. Do read the label that your tea is really chamomile & not a combination of black or other teas. Harry likes raspberry tea also.
