Honeydew seeds

Is it safe to give my babies fresh honeydew seeds? ... is there anything I should do to them first ?

I know canteloupe seeds are safe and they're kind of in the same family.I give my flock the canteloupe seeds with no ill effect.

Do you also throw away bell pepper seeds? Mine love those too. For the pepper seeds, make sure they are really white. If they have started to darken, toss them.

On the cantaloupe seeds, or seeds from any of the squashes, I offer them for two days only. I worry that things like that will go bad.

No cantaloupes now because of the recall. Make sure you wash the outside of the honeydew because if there are any cooties on it, the knife will pick them up and deposit them inside the melon as you cut.
