WNV - Time to clean those gutters

Arizona has had the first human death from WNV this year. WNV is now endemic in most states. The last time I checked, Washington state was WNV free.

We have mosquitoes year round in Louisiana, but it is time for the rest of you guys to make sure there is no standing water around your house.

Gratefully Austin doesn't have a mosquito problem. Aside from being rather dry. we have HUGE colonies of Mexican bats here that handle the problem for us humans.

Bats was the one thing I disliked about living in San Antonio....

We have some bat here & we sit out in the evening & watch them swoop around the street lamps. Incredible aerobatics.
