OKay, I have been calling, emailing, leaving messages, bargaining etc for 4 days. I have gotten the run around from most and only three companies that will even do the cages. Allied won't even give me the time of day and return my calls:confused:. Anyway, I finally spoke with a Marc Pell, owner of Gulf Coast Powder Coating in Houston. I explained what most of us have run into and that the lowest cost I found was still 300.00 per cage. WEll guess what!!! He is a bird lover- he was annoyed when he heard about my situation and told me that he will sandblast and powder coat (stock color of gray/black granite style) for 200.00 ea. if I could get him 5 cages. That is the best I could come up with. Sooooo...anyone else out there looking- I know Peggy was- so I need to know how many we can come up with- I told him I would call him back to give him specs on how many and the sizes. He said that if anyone wanted any colors that he doesn't stock- it gets very expensive.

I will ask about an old iron one we have in the garage, in case it is needed as a back up. Get back to you later on that.

I will take stock colors. I have at least one 40/30 and a 32x24 and a double stack 36x28x91 inch tall. I can get two of them there. I will have to find someone to help getting the 91 inch one there.
Thanks Wanda for your fingers doing the walking.

Peggy, we have a truck and a trailer. We will help you get the cages there. I will wait to see what Jill needs and then we'll put something together as to when we can get them all there with Marc.

I should have 3. I will do both the King's cages I just bought and Dolly's corner cage. I was going to save the corner cage in case I pursued the China lethal cage thing but I love Dolly's cage and she does too. So I'll eat that one.

I so wish I was closer. I have a few older cages I'd love to have done.
