Do you sing to your bird(s)? Do you make up songs for them? If so, what are a few of your favorite. Here's a start.

"Over hill over dale we will hit the birdy trail as the caiques go rolling along." This is a good birdie dancing song as well.

or

(for my lsc Lemon chiffon parFAIT) You are the cutest little baby Fait, Baby Fait....

I don't make any up, but I do sing...
Little kid songs mainly. Like Jesus Loves Me and I Had a Little Turtle...
I LOVE to sing him My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean...

Leroy, a re-home, used to whistle all of "Bridge Over the River Kwai. I can't whistle, but I found it online. She has not started whistling along, so I sing (as best I can), "Leroy, I love my Leroy bird. Leroy, she is my lovely bird. Leroy, oh I love Leroy. Leroy, Leroy, the bird." Or something like that.

I sing "I had the time of my life" to Blusher each night before we go to bed. I sing "You are so beautiful" to Fergie. One day she was on her swing and it was used as the background in a commercial. When the first few notes came on, she dropped the sisal she was shredding, flattened her feathers, pinned her eyes, and looked at me. She knew that was out song. It thrilled me so.

Tommie has a song too, but I can't think of it.

I also sing "You are my Tommie, my lovely Tommie, you make me happy when skies are gray...." I continue with each bird's name.

I can't think of others now, but I do it with any old familiar song.

Oh, I love it! We need a video of the birdies dancing to that, too!
Dot, I love that each of the birds have a certain song that you sing to them!
Bonnie, I am so LOL over "My Bonnie lies over the ocean"! I love it!

I sing a good bit to my birds. I so need a video camera to get Django singing on film. The one minute of film or so my camera permits (it's old) is barely enough to have him get started!

Django likes to sing, "Rockin' Django." (Don't tell him it's aka "Rockin' Robin.") He also sings, "When I'm Sixty-Four," "Hi ho Hi Ho it's off to work I go," and "Close to You."

I think he's very smart. I'm not biased at all... not one bit. LOL!

Tiki tries so hard to sing Lol, unfortunately it come sout as a variety of warbles, blowing raspberries and wolf whistles accompanied with the birdie bop! LOL and yes, he blows raspberries. I think he saw me do this to Anna's Lories when he was a baby. He's real good at it now :)
