baby blue headed poinus

My oldest Blue Headed Poinus took it first flight. Only about 10 feet than it landed like a rock. They are finnally getting around the cage real good and they will play when out of the cage with us a little. They like to climb on my head (maybe that why they call them blue headed) :) We have 4 ringneck parekeet eggs now.
Will got a go for now.

No not yet got to learn how to use the camara with out husband doing it for me. He never is in the spot when they do something cute. I am not much of a tech type of person. I am doing good e-mailing if the computer dies i am up a tree without a computer.:o But i can use the drill and saw to make my own bird toys for the big birds and drill holes in pop sickle sticks for the little birds and put on string.

Oh Michelle! I would loved to have seen that!
My blue head pi just took her first flight a few months ago... at the age of 1 1/2. She's doing soooo much better now, though! And flies everywhere! I think she recognizes how much fun it is!
I hope we can see a video of your baby flying soon, and that the "landing like a brick" stage ends soon!
