Welcome! I have been checking out this nest for a while. Finally a hatchling! I think the nest is going to fill up fast, so we should pick out our niche before it gets too crowded. I'd like a spot with a view.
Let me introduce myself. I'm Diane and have an eight year old Goffin Too that has chosen me to be his chief caretaker for the past year. I have come to believe that Cloud is an alien disguised as a bird, who has been sent from the mothership to research and study human life forms. I am his test subject. A day doesn't go by without him amazing me with his intelligence and ingenuity. I've checked out posts and stories on other bird forums and am convinced that there are others out there doing their own tests on other humans. You may have also, come to the same conclusion.
I'll try to post a pic of Cloud, but I'm usually plagued by the dreaded red X virus.

I am owned by an Umbrella Too of unknown age & background (may have just appeared on planet) Harry is a constant source of both humor, engineering tests & occasional flesh acquisitions. I do believe your theory is the correct one.

Nice to meet you all!

Well arent we all a bunch of Too lovers here :D Im the slave to three Toos- Lancelot, an Eleonora Too and a pair of Goffins (Austin & Shiloh). I also am owned by several Amazon parrots (14), Poicephalus (3 sennies and a red belly) and the cutest Hawkhead parrot you've ever seen (Cassius). Yep, you read that right... 21 birds. Never a dull moment around here ;)

It is so great to know you Jill as there is someone with worse NEB disease than I. It is amazing how easily you can get attached.

Well, I have just about all my wish birds...one remaining....Greater Vasa. For now the inn is full (need room for the Christmas tree)

Hello all!
I am afraid I am 'too-less...
But I do have a blue head pionus who I think wants to be a 'too when she grows up! She is much more mechanically inclined than my other two birds (a maxi pi and a sennie.)

Peggy, there is no room for a tree here, LOL. Actually I'd like to move some furniture out as we're a bit crowded with the new cages ;) Greater Vasas are really neat birds. Ive never seen one in person but the breeder I got my Hawkhead through raises them. Absolutely spectacular.

Gotta love those Pis Michelle :D

Just wanted to say Hello, I am owned by one lovebird but have had cockatiels in the past (both have since flew over the Rainbow Bridge after living full lives).
I know a few of you and must say nice to meet the rest of you.

Greater Vasa's are indeed an interesting bird. I have handled 2. They are playful. One would get on the floor of the cage and play while laying on his back. Their proportions seem a little off...longer neck then a longer body. They remind me of aratinga conure group....very playful AND can be loud. But, hey, loud is relevant...have a Queen of Bavaria here and blue crown conure. They can really crank it up if they wish!
